| 12 YEAR OLD ZOE HODGES INSPIRED TO RAISE FUNDS 13 Aug A young lady with a big heart from Royton Lancs, was inspired to make a difference by seeing a segment on the local TV news about Luke Carthy (MLD affected 5 year old.) With help from her family and friends in the local church, Zoe organised an afternoon tea/coffee at Gravel Hole Methodist Church with delicious food and great entertainment. The show featured musical recitals, poetry readings, singing and stories. A total of £387.32 was raised.
Zoe was presented with a Myelin Project T-shirt and wristband in our gratitude for her efforts. She also got to meet Luke, the lad who inspired her and Luke's family. Zoe presented her own gift to Luke, an adorable teddy bear.
